wickedness is definitely not of God. It is of the devil. One scriptural definition of the wicked says “God is not in his thoughts”. We need to watch out. Any time we make plans outside God and His help, we court the pathway of wickedness. Herodias cuts a good example of a wicked woman. Even Herod the king, as ungodly as he was, respected John the Baptist and ordinarily couldn't bring himself to kill him. Herodias influenced her young daughter to ask for the head of John the Baptist and she got it! Unfortunately, she is not in a position to answer us today, what she did with John's head. It is certain that from that day, peace eluded her, for there is no peace for the wicked. Each time a thought crosses our hearts to the extent that we harm our neighbour we enter into wickedness. Let's beware. Whereas the triumph of the wicked is short. the benefits of righteousness are eternal.Evening verse : 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
One definition of love says, “Love works no ill to its neighbour”. Since we know that God hates wickedness but loves righteousness, it behoves us to pursue what pleases God. There can't be righteousness outside love, because God is love. We therefore must make a conscious effort as from today to walk in love towards all men. The truth is every one of us has the capacity to love. We can change!!" I am blessed" "
